Dr Abu:
The Legacy
A father convinced he knows his son's future. A son determined to build his own. Then the internet disappears.
The series has not yet been released. The response came from the campaign introducing the world, characters and story.
He wants to break the internet.
Then the internet falls.
Ephraim wants to become the biggest creator in the world. Dr Abu has very different plans for his son's future. When the internet disappears for up to 18 months, the family is forced to confront what remains when the online world is gone.

The character already had an audience.
Now the world gets a story.
Dr Abu was built directly with an audience that already understood his humour, language and family world. The Legacy expands that relationship into long-form scripted storytelling while keeping creator, character and audience connected to development.
One performer.
Multiple generations.
Ephraim Lisk performs each generation on set. A performance-led workflow using Blackmagic Design and DaVinci Resolve extends age around the actor while preserving expression, movement and character.
Before the technology, the audience and the scale, there is a family.
At the centre of Dr Abu: The Legacy is a Black father and son who love one another, but have very different ideas about what the future should look like.
Vulnerable. Loving. Complicated.
What if the internet did not come back?
A catastrophic outage threatens to leave the world offline for up to 18 months. For Ephraim, the future he has built online disappears overnight. For his father, the collapse creates something unexpected: his son's attention.
The fictional question carries a real-world tension. Ephraim Lisk has built his own career through the same digital infrastructure his character suddenly loses.
